Croak.it & QR Codes in the Classroom

One of the great addition technology (in this case the iPad) adds to teaching & learning is the option of recording audio to projects/text that students need to read. This can be done for struggling readers or students who just want to have audio along with reading the instructions themselves. That way the teacher doesn’t have to sit by that student just to help him read but he can help himself.

Of course does all this add preparation for the teacher. But in the long run it saves a lot of time if the teacher will use the assignment again. In my 3rd grade class one of the most rewarding things we did was to use QR codes and Croak.it to help us with word problems in math.

I could write a long blog post on the issue but instead put together this short video.

If you have any questions you can contact me either through my blog, e-mail og Twitter.
